Jude Law, Sienna Miller
Jude and Sienna, together again?

November 3, 2009 - 4:35pm

Hollywood's romantic redux: True or False?

Apparently the old saying is true: love really is better the second time around. Or at least that’s what the latest Intel out of the rumour mill would have us believe. But are certain famous former duos really doing a romantic double take, or is this just another sign that publishers are willing to say anything to sell magazines? The Gossipy Gal Pal investigates.

Sienna Miller & Jude Law

The good old days: These guys were the “it” couple back in 2003. She was a fashion pheonom with a promising acting career in front of her. He was an Oscar nominated actor who still had all his natural hair. Then along came the nanny.

The end: The aforementioned nanny pretty much sealed the deal. Or unsealed the deal I guess I should say. Jude and Si broke off their engagement shortly after. In the years that followed, he became less hot and made fewer good movies (with way more visits to the tanning salon), and she earned a rep as an international party girl-slash-topless home wrecker.

Rumours of reconciliation:
For the past week or so, the blog-o-sphere has been buzzing about Sienna and Jude, part two. Both actors are staring on Broadway right now, and according to the British tabs, “Sienna and Jude have met up a few times and got on really well.” Even their reps admit they’ve been hanging out again, but does it mean they’ve been making out too?

The verdict: I kind of doubt it. Or if they have, it’s been more about having fun than having a relationship. Jude is a playboy through and through (note his new offspring that he hasn’t even met yet), and while Si may not be Hollywood royalty anymore, she probably has her sites set a little higher than a tanorexic lothario with hair plugs.
